Coming up in April is the 5th Annual Celebrating Generations event. The dates are April 18-21 and the location is the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, Washington. If you’ve joined us before in Kennewick and/or Spokane, you know that this is a special gathering of our district community. You also know that this event is for everyone – pastors, lay people, families with children, all generations. This year’s theme is “Three Greats: Great Church--Great Commandment--Great Co-mission.” We are planning for a full weekend of praise and worship, reports from leadership, ordination service, Festival of Missions, a host of resourcing workshops, full Children’s Program running concurrently throughout the event, and lots of opportunities to connect and fellowship with friends from all over the Northwest District.
District Superintendent, Randy Craker, will bring the opening event message on Wednesday evening, reflecting on where God has led us and inspiring us for the future. General Superintendent, Jerry Porter, will challenge us to “make Christlike disciples in the nations.” Nazarene Mission International will host Festival of Missions on Friday afternoon, followed by dinner on the grounds and an evening intergenerational service. Missionaries from a Creative Access area are special guest speakers. Below you will find a host of information regarding Celebrating Generations. |
